Certified Proofing
There is a difference between the output of a pretty picture and what is actually “contract proof”. Let us explain. A contract proof is a print of a digital file that must meet strict industry standards and guidelines to achieve passing-level certification. Color precision is measured by spectrophotometer monitoring to ensure that your proofs match the file they printed from accurately. Proofreading is the step where a client reviews color and content for approval with the full expectation that this is a reliable prediction for accuracy once it goes to press.
Only a certified proof can be sent along with the digital file to any printer, domestic or foreign, for easy and reliable color matching on the press, as you approved and expected it to be. Anything other than certified contract proof is a roll of the dice. Our contract proofs are sent worldwide for clients who print abroad. We offer both coated and uncoated stock options and meet any required profiling standard. Every proof that leaves Impressive Printing is a certified proof.
